Super Talent comes back with the new 8GB Registered-ECC DDR3 DRAM modules to support low-voltage Intel Westmere platforms. These memory modules enable enterprise servers to significantly elevate the total memory capacity while demanding less power and creating a cooler system environment. The JEDEC standard 1.35V DDR3 ECC/R-DIMM 8GB module runs at 1333MHz with latencies of 9-9-9. Super Talent’s DDR3 memory product runs at 1.35v instead of the traditional 1.5v. The lower operating voltage reduces memory power consumption by over 20%, in comparison with the standard 1.5V DDR3 memory modules.
